We’ve crunched the numbers and you might be surprised at how little the difference is between the lease of an eCanter and its diesel equivalent.

By making the transition to a zero-emission eCanter, you’ll prevent an estimated 82 tonnes of CO2 from entering the atmosphere over a six-year/180,000km lease.

Example lease value supplied by FUSO authorised leasing provider. Fully maintained operating lease for eCanter cab-chassis and diesel equivalent is over 72-months and 30,000 kms per annum. Calculations include: ORC (on road costs), seat covers, stone guard, floor mats, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, roof kit, hand brake alarm and wheel lock indicators. Truck body and any other accessories are additional. Servicing costs are based on NZ retail sales price (RSP). The residual (buy-back) value of $50,000 for the eCanter is set in the contract, the price of the diesel is approximate market value. Kilometres travelled is based on a 6-year, 180,000km term. Fuel consumed is based on 2,500km per month at $1.80 per litre of diesel verses $0.196 per kWh. Calculations are based on data from NZ Government sources, including emissions, energy, fuel and RUC.
